Description synthétique Morphologie | Morphométrie

Rayons mous dorsaux (Total): 10; Rayons mous anaux: 18 - 20. Rhinopetitia potamorhachia differs from its only congener, R. myersi Géry 1964, by the presence of distinct dark midlateral body stripe (vs. absence) overlaying an inconspicuous, round humeral blotch (vs. absence of humeral blotch); teeth in both premaxillary tooth rows with seven to nine cusps and seven or eight cusps on the maxillary teeth (vs. outer series of premaxillary teeth with three cusps and inner series of premaxillary teeth with three to five cusps; maxillary teeth with three to five cusps) (Ref. 111429).
