Short description
Morfología | Morfometría
Espinas dorsales (total): 7; Radios blandos dorsales (total): 7; Espinas anales 1; Radios blandos anales: 7. This species is distinguished by the following characters: cephalic sensory-canal pore system lacking the IT and PITO pores, while the AITO pore is not enlarged or double; lacks the dark spot over the preural centrum area; dorsal/anal-fin formula is 7/7; 16 pectoral-fin rays, some are branched; when alive, the body has many brick-red markings (Ref. 107299).
This species is collected over low-relief reef of dead coral and coral rock rubble (Ref. 107299).
