পৃষ্ঠীয় কাঁটা (মোট ): 1; পৃষ্ঠীয় নরম পাখনা দন্ড (মোট ): 7-8. Distinguished from all other known species of Batasio by having colorless body, without any bars or bands, spots or stripes, and long adipose dorsal fin almost confluent with the caudal but for a narrow notch (Ref. 51080).
