Issue
This species is known only from the types. It appears to be closely related to C. compta. Both have slender elongate bodies, similar scale counts, size, and color patterns. The dorsal fin is set back on the body almost over the anal fin. Eschmeyer, 1998:1761; Vari and Howe, 1991:15; Géry, 1977:147.
