Biology     Glossary (e.g. epibenthic)

Collected in one sample at 113 m on a coarse sand bottom with many deep sea oyster shell remains (Neopycnodonte cochlear). Arnoglossus thori Kyle, 1913 was the most abundant fish species associated with this species (Ref. 106320).

Estimates based on models

Phylogenetic diversity index (Ref. 82804):  PD50 = 0.6250   [Uniqueness, from 0.5 = low to 2.0 = high].
Bayesian length-weight: a=0.00794 (0.00359 - 0.01758), b=2.80 (2.61 - 2.99), in cm total length, based on LWR estimates for this (Sub)family-body shape (Ref. 93245).
Trophic level (Ref. 69278):  3.2   ±0.4 se; based on size and trophs of closest relatives
Resilience (Ref. 120179):  High, minimum population doubling time less than 15 months (Preliminary K or Fecundity.).
Fishing Vulnerability (Ref. 59153):  Low vulnerability (10 of 100).
