Biology     Glossary (e.g. epibenthic)

Inhabits creeks with brown water and substrate of stone and sand. The creeks are characterized by having 18.3-20.3°C surface temperature, 7.6-9.7 mg/l dissolved oxygen and 104-127% saturation, pH 8, and 2-4 m width (Ref. 83513).

Estimates based on models

Phylogenetic diversity index (Ref. 82804):  PD50 = 0.5000   [Uniqueness, from 0.5 = low to 2.0 = high].
Bayesian length-weight: a=0.00813 (0.00372 - 0.01775), b=3.09 (2.90 - 3.28), in cm total length, based on LWR estimates for this (Sub)family-body shape (Ref. 93245).
Trophic level (Ref. 69278):  3.0   ±0.4 se; based on size and trophs of closest relatives
Fishing Vulnerability (Ref. 59153):  Low vulnerability (10 of 100).
