Biology     Glossary (e.g. epibenthic)

Found in streams, ponds, and swamps (Ref. 5259). Inhabits rivers and creeks flowing through rainforest, sometimes in stagnant pools or slowly flowing rivulets. Also occurs along the margins of swamps and lakes. Usually forms large aggregations that shelter among aquatic vegetation. Estimates based on models

Phylogenetic diversity index (Ref. 82804):  PD50 = 0.5000   [Uniqueness, from 0.5 = low to 2.0 = high].
Bayesian length-weight: a=0.01230 (0.00515 - 0.02940), b=3.01 (2.82 - 3.20), in cm total length, based on LWR estimates for this Genus-body shape (Ref. 93245).
Trophic level (Ref. 69278):  3.3   ±0.43 se; based on food items.
Resilience (Ref. 120179):  High, minimum population doubling time less than 15 months (tm=1).
Fishing Vulnerability (Ref. 59153):  Low vulnerability (10 of 100).
