Remarks: Infestation occurs most commonly in the musculature. It is also associated with human infection involving myocardial complications and heart failure due to the blockage of the parasite's eggs in the coronary vessels. This can occur when the parasite's eggs entered the circulatory system via the intestinal mucosa. Besides 1936 (Garcia), the disease also occurred in 1937 (Africa, and Africa et al.), 1938 (Africa, Velasquez-Colet and Africa), 1939, 1940 (Velasquez-Colet and Africa).
