The transparent eye of the newly hatched larvae has few melanophores in the lower part of the optic-cup symphisis. The newly hatched larvae has the eyes and otic vesicles for med. No eye pigmentation. Head curved over yolk-sac.

Melanophores of the newly hatched larvae are distributed over the finfold except at the posterior part of the caudal region. Two days after hatching, mouth and anus opened. Yolk are completely absorbed by day 3. They swim against the current.
