Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 73-81; Dorsal soft rays (total): 0-0; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 34-41; Vertebrae: 80-88
Biology:  Ranges from the intertidal zone to 5 m depth, on seaweed beds with pebble bottoms (Ref. 46239).
