Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 51 - 1456 m
Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic: southern England to Senegal and the northern Mediterranean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Uncommon species (Ref. 34024). Oviparous, with oval pelagic eggs floating in a gelatinous mass (Ref. 205). Minimum depth from Ref. 122785.
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 12 October 2018 Ref. (130435)
