Diagnosis: |
This species can be distinguished from other congeners by the following combination of characters: presence of abdomen region partially covered by small irregular plates, concentrated near the preanal plates; exposed canal plate; greater interorbital width; presence of two broad transverse dark brown marks on the outer surface of upper lips; and, caudal peduncle slightly compressed laterally after confluence of lateral keels (Ref. 117418). |
