Remarks Inhabits inshore waters, preferring turbulent seas and rocky shores. Movement from those areas are influenced by tides. Juveniles are carnivorous, feeding on copepods while adults are omnivorous, consuming mussels, algae and seaweed (Ref. 9773). Inhabits rocky shallow coastal waters. Feeds on algae and small invertebrates.
